Phone CALL

Yesterday I talked on the telephone to my Aunt Kitty.  I said, " Hi Kitty!" 

She understood what I said!

Then I wanted to see if  I could understand her.

Kitty said, "Hi Amanda!" And I UNDERSTOOD HER!!!!!!!!!

Earring, Goldy and Popcorn

Last week I got a new ear piercing on my left ear!  See my earring?

Today was crazy hat day at my school.  I wore a Tigger hat.

Here I am with Goldy.

I asked Goldy to look at me but she refused.

Here I am eating popcorn.  I can't hear myself chew but I can hear Jennifer crunching.

I fed string cheese to Goldy.  She gave me a kiss to say, 'Thanks, Amanda!' 

I WANT ANOTHER CI!!!!!!!!!!  I want to hear on my left side too!

Hi everyone! My name is Amanda. I am 14 years old and I am deaf. I have a Cochlear Implant. My surgery was July 14, 2008. I start activation was Aug 12, 2008. I am learning to hear.
