As a young lady recently implanted you have so much to share with the world about your experiences, your ups & downs, your journey, and I for one look forward to “hearing” all about them!
I've been following your step-mom's blog about your CI journey. I'm so proud of you as you take a baby's first step in hearing with your CI. You're such a remarkable young woman. I look forward read your adventure.
Hi, Amanda, I've enjoyed reading about your CI journey on Jennifer's blog. I loved watching the videos. You have such a special family.
I'm a mom of a 14-year-old girl in Texas and we're both totally impressed with how brave you've been. Neither of us is deaf, and we've learned so much from Jennifer's blog.
I wish you all the best and will watch for new posts.
Amanda, Welcome to blogspot. I have been reading all about your experiences from your stepmother. I also have cochlear implants. Your last video touched me. As I hate the sound the toliet makes too!

Reading your experinces and your problems at the start brought me in tears as i was worried about you, But now all is well. I have put your blog link on my blog. Keep up with good work and keep smiling. you got a great family.
Hi Amanda! I have been following your blog since day one! I'm excited that you started your own blog. I have a dog myself and hearing the different noises they make is a fun to write about.
Amanda, congratulations! It's Stephen's wife Laura (we met in Sedona). I am working with someone now who helps people learn to hear after cochlear implants, so it's neat to learn experiences from both the teachers and the people learning to hear. Big hugs and huge blessings to you, brave one. :) Love, Laura
I'm one of the folks who helped on your insurance appeal to get your implant. I'm so happy to see the progress you are making already ! For others who are having trouble getting implants covered by their insurers, please visit http://advocacy.letthemhear.org
